Students at Felix Varela Senior High join a sing-along to during Karaoke Night.

Felix Varela Senior High has always had a very large Best Buddies Chapter and plan extravegent events that accommodate their forty Buddy Pairs and associate members.

An event that has become a bit of a tradition for the chapter is Karaoke Night. The chapter invites parents, school peers and all of the Best Buddies Chapter Members to join in on a night that is nothing less than fun and filled with laughter.

The school administration is very supportive of the chapter and provides the school auditorium as the venue for this rocking event. With the assistance of their Advisor, Ms. Mercedes Parada, the attendees receive first class entertainment with duets, group serenades and solo performances. The most popular selections came from the High School Musical 3 soundtrack. The chapter looks forward to hosting this event again next year.
